Reporting a bug
What to send so it can be fixed quickly.
This is an in-development build, so bug reports really help. A good report includes:
- What you did, step by step.
- What you expected, and what happened instead.
- Screenshots, ideally showing the map and the status bar message.
- The log file. After a crash, the editor offers the log of that session the next time it starts.
Testing builds
In this build, Help → Report a bug… still opens the issue page of the original upstream project. Please don't post Wayline Studio reports there. Send them to the Wayline Studio team directly instead.
Paths inside your user folder and any imagery keys are removed from the log before it's offered to you.
