Pavements at junctions
What Trim, Keep and Cancel do, and UK-style dropped kerbs.
When a new junction meets roads with pavements, Wayline asks what to do:
| Choice | What happens |
|---|---|
| Trim | Clears the pavement corners inside the junction and slopes the approach pavements down outside the carriageway, like a UK dropped kerb. |
| Keep | Leaves the pavements as they are. |
| Cancel | Doesn't build the junction. |
Trimming keeps the carriageway's position and lane widths exactly as they were.
Kerbs, pavements and verges on their own
Under Roads → Kerbs, pavements and verges there are presets for 2 m, 3 m or 4.5 m pavement with kerb, kerb only, grass verge and footpath. Draw them in Free mode. With Follow road edge on, clicks near a road land on its edge, and the kerb faces the road whichever way you draw.
