Finding your way around
Panels, the inspector, the tools and the keyboard shortcuts.
The layout
- Map view: the 2D top view or the 3D view of your map. Scroll to zoom and drag to pan.
- Project panel: the map's tiles, layers and what's in your project.
- Inspector: shows whatever you've clicked (an object, a road, a junction or a tile), with its useful controls and a short guide to the active tool. Advanced details such as geometry, connections and full placement lists are in folded sections.
- Tool panel: the options for the tool you're using (Roads, Objects, Terrain and so on).
Moving panels
Drag a panel's title to move it, or drop it near an edge to dock it there. Double-click the title to put it back where it started.
