A junction or roundabout is refused
The common reasons, and what to try.
The status bar always says why. These are the usual causes:
| Message or symptom | Try this |
|---|---|
| Too close to another junction or entry | Leave more room between them, or move your road a little further along. |
| Very sharp angle | Side roads join between about 24° and 156°. Add a bend before the junction. |
| Road too short here | Split the road nearer the junction with N, or give it more length. |
| Roundabout entry won't fit | The status bar says how many degrees it needs. Use the roundabout editor to place entries exactly. |
| Road pieces don't join | Run Edit → Fix roads (whole map). |
Note
Junctions with hand-made arm movements or markings may need a little preparation before they can gain another arm.
