Release notes
Every stop along the way, newest first. The download page always has the latest build.
2.9.1
Junctions sit exactly where you draw them
Latest- A new junction's centre now goes exactly where you joined the road, facing along it, so side roads meet their arm as drawn instead of swerving.
- The main road's arms follow the road's real course, so junctions on curves carry on without a kink.
- Uneven arms no longer leave the road overlapping the junction.
2.9
Roundabout editor, crossroads and path bending
- New roundabout editor: add as many entries as you like, drag them to exact positions, turn their arms along your roads, or line them up with nearby roads automatically.
- Joining a road to a roundabout now rebuilds the whole roundabout with the new entry, so the ring stays perfectly round.
- Draw the opposite road onto a T junction to make a crossroads. It works anywhere on the junction.
- Bend AI paths through junctions so buses stop cutting over the kerb.
- Route builder: choose your bus stop sign, and load any existing route to edit or delete it.
- Dropdowns finally look like dropdowns, and option rows wrap on narrow windows.
2.8
Roads from OpenStreetMap and OS Open Roads
- Generate a tile's roads from OpenStreetMap. In Great Britain, OS Open Roads fills the gaps.
- Curved approaches into junctions and roundabouts, and moving AI paths by exact distances in the inspector.
- Draw a T junction by starting on a road as well as by finishing on one.
2.6
Team Create sync, object packs and Fix roads
- Team Create edits appear in place, without the whole map reloading, and you can see others' brushes, placements and fence lines live.
- Install whole object and road packs from one zip, with no size limit. Team members receive packs from each other.
- Edit → Fix roads (whole map) links, repairs and closes gaps across every road.
- Split roads at the pointer, or every 2, 5, 10 or 20 m.
2.5
Junctions, fences and windows
- Roundabout entries are built properly onto the ring, where you click.
- Junctions on loops and multi-piece curves go where you click.
- Fence and wall improvements, and tidier windows throughout.
2.4
Objects, kerbs and terrain sources
- Houses and trees go exactly where you click, while fences and walls snap end to end.
- Draw mode with smooth curves, Snap to road edge and Import your own object (.zip).
- Kerbs, pavements and verges as their own presets.
- Terrain sources including Ordnance Survey Terrain 50, plus OS Road, Outdoor and Light maps for tracing.
