In-development software, no affiliation with OMSI, and other important notes.

In-development software

Wayline Studio is an in-development build and is likely to be buggy. Features may be incomplete, change without notice, or not work as described. The editor may crash, produce maps that don't load or don't behave as expected in OMSI 2, or occasionally lose work.

Always keep backups of your maps, projects and OMSI installation. Wayline exports to a separate map folder and doesn't edit the original map in place, but no software is perfect.

No warranty

The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. This is also set out in sections 15 and 16 of the GNU AGPL v3.

Not affiliated with OMSI

Wayline Studio is an independent fan project. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by the developers or publishers of OMSI 2. "OMSI" and related names are the property of their respective owners and are used here only to describe compatibility. OMSI 2 and its content aren't included.

Not an official MapWorks release

Wayline Studio is a derivative of the open-source OMSI MapWorks (Omsi-2-Mapforger) project. It isn't an official release of that project, and its authors aren't responsible for Wayline Studio.

Real-world data

Satellite imagery, maps, terrain heights and road data come from third-party services. They may be inaccurate, out of date or misaligned. Roads generated from OpenStreetMap or Ordnance Survey data are a starting point, and you should check them.

Third-party content

Objects, road types and scenery packs belong to their creators. Wayline Studio doesn't grant you any rights to them. Check each creator's terms before using or sharing their work.

Team Create

Team Create is a testing service. It's used at your own risk, should only be shared with people you trust, and may be reset or withdrawn without notice.
