What is Team Create?
Live multiplayer map editing, and what to know before you use it.
Team Create lets several people edit one OMSI map at the same time.
- Edits reach everyone in about a second.
- Each person appears as a coloured, see-through ball with an arrow showing where they're looking, plus their name and what they're doing.
- You see each other's pointer, selections, terrain brush and the road being drawn.
- The map lives on the server, so anyone in the team can open it at any time, even when the owner is offline.
Testing phase: at your own risk
Team Create is in testing. When you create a team project, you do so at your own risk. Only give the invite code to people you trust, because anyone with the code can join and edit your map. Keep your own backups.
Is it public?
No. Team Create runs on a private server, and access is by invite only during testing. The server's address isn't published.
